- The Texas
Sports Hall of Fame has
undertaken a $4 million capital expansion and endowment
campaign.
-
- The Texas High School Football Hall
of Fame needs to raise $300,000 to fund the increased
cost of leased space in the museum, updates to the
display areas and development of new
programs.
-
- Until now The Texas High School
Football Hall of Fame has funded most of its activities
and the museum through proceeds from the annual Hall of
Fame Induction Banquet. Each year The Texas High School
Football Hall of Fame maintains a balanced budget and we
carry no long-term debt other than the need to maintain
the leased museum space.
-
- The annual Induction Banquet will not
support the new space, updated displays or new ideas like
this internet site. We need your help. The scope of
opportunity that exists for you to contribute to The
Texas High School Football Hall of Fame includes the
donation of cash, assets and stocks or equities that
might have appreciated in value to the point where tax
deduction rather than capital taxation might seem like a
good option. We also recognize the value of endorsements
and other forms of assistance.
-
- Contributions from individuals,
businesses and corporations are recognized through
publicity designed in cooperation with the contributor.
Corporate sponsors have the opportunity to reach all
state athletic officials through print and electronic
media.
-
- A little-known
provision in the tax relief package to aid victims of
Hurricane Katrina allows donors who make cash
contributions by the end of this year to deduct an amount
equal to virtually 100 percent of their adjust gross
incomes, double the normal limit of 50 percent of income.
